Metropolitan Holdings was founded in 1998 by Matthew R. Vekasy. With $1,500 of capital, he built the Company's first two-family project in the Grandview area of Columbus.
Today, Metropolitan Holdings is a full-service real estate development firm providing development, financial, construction, property, and asset management services to the projects the Company develops.
The firm now employs over 60 employees with a leadership team representing all functions of the business. This has allowed the Company to successfully develop over $800M worth of multifamily assets within the Columbus, Dayton, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Toledo, and Akron markets.
